What is the program about?
CI Inovador was created to meet the growing market demand for professionals in the field of semiconductors and microelectronics. The program is an initiative of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation (MCTI) coordinated by Softex in partnership with the most renowned educational institutions in Brazil.
The program offers a residency on the trails of Digital Systems and Analog Systems, awarding a five thousand reais (per month) scholarship and the covering of travel costs for the international phase. Additionally, all trails include themes as Management and Entrepreneurship, providing a complete immersion to train highly qualified professionals and strengthen the national ecosystem of the sector.
CI Inovador Qualification phase lasts 6 months and awards a certificate to approved students. After completing this first stage, the students with the best performance will be selected for the International Experience and, subsequently, those who stand out will move on to the In Company phase.
Program Phases
Theoretical-practical Qualification
Students will enter a full-time in-person immersion, with theoretical and practical classes. In addition to the introduction to microelectronics and the content of each trail, the program includes Management topics and the participation of the students in fairs with companies in the sector.

International Experience
Selected students will join in technical visits to companies and institutions abroad for a period of 45 days and may become familiarized with the forefront of microelectronics. Afterwards, they will have the opportunity to develop a project in a simulated environment in Brazil, over 4 months.

In-company Training
In this last phase, students who stand out in the previous stage will be selected to join working groups at Brazilian companies and apply their knowledge.
